First Impression: AA (Double A)'s Come Back

I have been super duper lazy lately ~_~. New kpop songs/mvs keep coming out like every single day but I just don’t have the energy to review them D: !!! However, AA or aka Double A FINALLY made their comeback with “Come Back”! (lol). They disappeared for like a whole year =_=, I thought they disbanded or something but no, they are just…..keeping quiet. I honestly don’t know why I like them so much, I mean they are good looking but I seen better. And their songs is just regular kpop….I guess their girly-ish dance from their first debut song caught my attention LOL.

The mv:
image

The beginning is so different! It sounds like Baroque music LOL. Woosang and Aoora opens up with their awesome dancing, I’m not a fan of Aoora’s rainbow hair but he rocks it. I don’t like Woosang’s red hair at all though, nada.

image
Kimchi always has blonde hair, I wonder what he looks like with darker hair. The song is already super catchy and I’m not even at the chorus yet.

image
Chorus: come back back back back back back come back to me. Look at them kneeling down begging you to go back. I’m pretty sure during that part of the dance the crotch area was touched. A boy group classic.
image
The scenes moves pretty fast, took me forever to get a nice shot. Woosang really reminds me of an evil vampire here. Awww Hoik (left with black hair) is such a cutie pie =w=
image
This part looks……cheap. BUT look at the epic entrance for the rapper. Oh and their hair color changed, now it’s black? dark brown?
image

Then Juwon turns around and says his English and Korean rap (yay it made sense!), then BAM an amazing high note.

image

Not the best shot…..actually it’s kind of horrible. I just want to point out IT’S KIMCHI WITH DARK HAIR (right from Aoora). What is Aoora wearing…skirt with leggings? Kay.

Conclusion: I like it!! The song is catchy with a creative beginning. I still hate Woosang’s red hair and dark lipstick (please don’t ever wear it again) in the mv, that just ruined everything. I checked out the album, but it was mostly their old songs…..sigh. Their youtube channel has a bunch of audio teasers and I really really like some of them, so hopefully the full songs will be released soon. Double A fighting~!!

My Baby: Lay

image
Quick Bio: Member of EXO-M under SM Entertainment.

Lay didn’t stand out for me at first. Too busy touching Kris on my monitor. There was something about Lay that I still can’t explain. Without me knowing, he ended up second in my EXO-M list. I kept glancing at him. Focusing on him. Watching him.

It wasn’t his looks or his dancing. Was it his personality? Something about him.

image

I heard he looks like Donghae from Super Junior, but I see Lay. I don’t need to waste time figuring about why my eyes are attracted to him. I just need to love him and squeal like a fan girl in heat.

I hate that I can’t pinpoint what appeals to me about him. How can I fan girl about him if I don’t know? Easy. Just fangirl.

image

I love watching him dance the most out of EXO-M. Of course. I love the way he talks. I’m not sure what I mean by that. The way he speaks? What he talks about? What does he talk about? Secrets? Hm. This man. Why can’t you just let me love you. Why won’t you tell me why I like you?

You’re nothing special. Nothing particular I love about you. Stop making me think. Why can’t I accept the fact that you attract my eyes just because? Go away. Leave me alone.

image

Just kidding. How can I abandon you? Don’t leave me. Stay. You’re still my baby. I’m sorry. Let me love you. I don’t need to know why. I’m just going to joyfully fan girl. You lose all reason and thought when you fan girl anyways. Hugs.

Look at him. He’s so worthy of being my baby.

I can’t. Not in words.

Lay dancing. Lay speaking. Lay standing. Lay sitting. Lay. Lay. Lay. I’ll never be tired of him.

image

Even through all this fangirl haze, no amount of sparkly fangirl fantasy blindness can make me accept this.

image

Dear God, there is ice cream on this man’s armpit hair. I’m sorry Lay, baby, that’s not appealing in the slightest. Why is there any reason on earth to let melted ice cream drip down your shoulder?

image

Me still like you.

First Impression: Lee Hi's It's Over MV

image

YG’s little baby is back! I absolutely adored her on K-pop Star and wasn’t immensely thrilled by 1, 2, 3 ,4 so I had hoped It’s Over would be wow, fantastic baby.

image
The dolls are so cute. I want. Cute? Since when did YG do cute? I saw all the cute in the beginning and was worried the song would be bubblegum bbuing bbuing cute.

image

image
Forget the song. Look at her. YG did her good. Her hair. She lost weight. A healthy amount of weight. Definitely a difference from the girl who sang Bust Your Windows.

image
Cute bear and all, but I have to ask. Why is the toilet paper orange? I would definitely hesitate on using orange toilet paper. Does YG have something against traditional bathrooms with white toilet paper and regular flush handles?

image
This bear is so bad ass. After dropping Lee Hi and a pink teddy bear, he’s escaping the scene on his trusty pretty puff pony.

image
Best part of the MV.

image
That is an ugly outfit. I hope she never has to wear that ever again. I love the group behind her.

Overall: The MV was simple and cute. Perfect for her age. No need to emphasis your flat chest and your non-existent butt. I didn’t love the song at all at first. Better than 1, 2, 3, 4 but I didn’t fall in love with it. It grew on me though. I still wouldn’t have it on replay, but I’d still listen to it from time to time.

My Baby: Taemin

image

Quick Bio: Youngest in SHINee under SM Entertainment.

I first saw him from the very beginning when SM was introducing them. He’s younger than me! Instant “my baby” status. He was such a baby when he debuted. Put him in my pocket. Buy him ice cream forever. The years past and the baby is growing up. Still my baby.

image

I want him to call me noona.

He was unbearably cute on Star King. Kang Ho Dong babied him so much. Squeal.

He can act grown up and mature with each new concept. But no. Pats your head. He’s so pretty when he dresses up as a girl. It’s upsetting. Why is he prettier than me as a girl? His hair is so much nicer than mine. Looks so straight and soft. You’re a male. You don’t need that. Give it here. You make me jealous and you’re cute.

image

He’s not my bias or my favorite in SHINee. Doesn’t matter. He’s different. He’s my baby.

He went and kissed Jonghyun on stage. Baby, how could you do this to me? Jonghyun was aggressive. Why are you trying to grow up?

image

Look at how cute, young and innocent he looks there. I want to take care of him. Come to noona.

First Impression- Rania Just Go MV

Rania is finally back again~~!!! This group has been going for the sexy concept since their debut song “Dr. Feel Good”. They definitely sticked to their concept ever since they debuted. I like most of their songs, but their comeback “Style” was not that good. I watched the teaser of this mv and I was pretty exicted. This time only five members participated in the comeback, which is disappointing because they started off with so many members lol. Anyways, review time.

The MV:
image

The group name and title just made me feel like this is a cheaply made mv. The beat at the beginning makes me feel like I’m doing some type of countdown.
image

Getting uncomfortable already and it hasn’t even been 30 seconds since I started the mv. But then Rania does this type of move all the time, I guess the fact that their outfit made it……..stand out even more than usual. The girls are looking really pretty actually, the red head is rocking her hair.

image

I like the chorus, it’s really catchy. So far this song seems like one of the better comebacks. The dance has lots of butt action, they sure can move their butts well. Sistar19’s butt action can’t even compare.

image

Now more butt action from the back. Lol the male dancers just act as support for them. Their outfit seems so…..revealing but they are all covered. I prefer the black one over the white one, somehow it makes their butts less uncomfortable to watch.

image

Is there a storyline? I just see the members with the same guy but there’s like no explanations. Is it in the lyrics? Di always had short hair, she looks really good in it but I would like to see her with long hair for once.

image

Heeey I find that cool, using the back up dancers as bars so they can do more butt action. Did other groups use this before? This seems so fresh to me.

Conclusion: I like the song waay better than their other songs. This comeback is definitely a strong for Rania, because they usually have crappy mvs and outfits. I was disappointed the storyline wasn’t in here, because the teaser hinted at it. However teasers are usually misleading so…yeah. The dance was repetitive, it was just mainly moving their butts. This song still can’t beat “Dr. Feel Good” though, that one just got stuck in my head for days. Apparently they are going to debut in America, good luck to the girls. They have the sexy concept down so maybe they have a chance at success? Who knows, I just hope they don’t die and disappear.

K-Movie: The Crucible (Silenced)

image

I recommend this movie to everybody. That is how much I love it.

Summary: Basically there’s a new teacher at a school for the hearing-impaired who notices that the students are behaving oddly. He finds out that the teachers are physically and sexually abusing the students. No one cares. Especially not the school’s principal. After finding the truth about the school, the new teacher tries to find justice.

To read a better summary of the movie, you can go here or here. They’re the wiki sites.

image

My rant: I couldn’t express my shock and anger after watching this movie. I know how cruel the world is. I know this happens all the time without my knowledge. I know worse thing than this happen every day as I ignorantly take my life for granted. But then when you stop being ignorant and find out something like this happened. Stabs.

The principal’s a bastard. His brother. The security. They’re all sick bastards. Who the hell does that to students. To anybody. Taking advantage of students and impaired ones at that. Allowing teachers to the same as well? Everyone at the school deserves to go to hell. How can you sit and watch that happen?

image

I just can’t. It’s sick. Attempted suicide by the students. Betrayal. Video taped. Injustice. Spiteful.
I hate the movie and I loved it at the same time. It’s so sad. I felt such strong emotions towards this movie, but there’s nothing I believe I can do. I can’t believe the things that were shown in the movie happened.

image

I was so scared for them. It’s “just” a movie too. I can’t even imagine what they felt. I can’t imagine anything besides this privileged life I live. I’m so unaware.

Drama Rant- Taiwanese Dramas

Taiwanese dramas, I watched these first before I abandoned it completely and went with Korean dramas. That is a poster of the Taiwanese drama "Playful Kiss", which came out before the Korean version "Mischievious Kiss". I loved this drama, I even watched "Playful Kiss 2". As much as some of the scenes were totally fake and stupid, this is like a must watch. The actress Ariel Lin, she seemed really stupid and sometimes I hated her in there. The storyline kept me watching though, it wasn't boring at all.

I watched "Smiling Pasta" because I saw one episodes on TV once and I looked it up. It was a very cute drama, I actually like it despite how unbelieveable it was. This superstar falling in love with a girl that's cursed to break up with her boyfriends after they dated for 3 months. It was a very typical Taiwanese dramas with the innocent girl and "mean" guy. I hated the main girl's red hair, I thought it was so fake and ugly and just blah. I liked it though, another one of the few Taiwanese dramas I approve.

"Romantic Princess", a ordinary girl finds herself to be a rich heirness and now 4 guys are trying to win her heart. Started it because I love the actress but abandoned it because I hate the storyline again. These four guys, started out wanting to win her heart for the money. Like no, I don't like that at all. Everything went downhill after like episode 3, only remembered it for the eyecandies.

I know "Fate To Love You" was super popular when it was airing and got like really good ratings. However, I hate the storyline and never watched it. From what I remember they guy slept with the girl while he was drunk thinking she was his gf and she ends up preggo. Somehow they come to love each other and blah blah blah. First I hate storylines like that, and from the first few episodes I saw the guy treated her...in a mean way. So, I hate the guy and the story and everything was just no.

Then I remember watching "Hi, My Sweetheart". It was hilarious, as much as I thought it was stupid I kept watching. This was short too, I think there's 12 episodes? The actress, Ranie Yang, she is so popular in Taiwan I see her everywhere. I didn't like her at all because I started a few dramas with her in it and hated the characters she played. This was actually a good change and I went from hating her to accepting her. I do recommend watching this one though, a very sweet drama lol.

After watching Ranie Yang in the previous drama I mentioned, I found this one. "Miss No Good" was no good to me. The main girl has these natural curls (obviously a wig) and I forgot but I think she hated it. Then the main guy is a hair stylist and like straightens it for her. Anyways, I don't remember much because I skipped around and ended up quiting. The storyline was again stupid and the hair transformations were just fake and unbelieveable.

This drama, "Next Stop, Happines" is one of the best and most touching dramas I ever watched in my life. I wasn't expecting much from it because it's Taiwanese but omg this is a must watch. The storyline and everything was just perfect. I remember crying so much because their love was just so sad (Happy ending though so don't worry). I don't know what to say because there are so many things in there that touched me. I seriously got so depressed and recommended it to all my friends. Definitely must watch, it's a more serious drama compared to the other Taiwanese dramas. I might watch it again lol.

What I notice in lots of Taiwanese dramas is that the guy is always such a jerk in the beginning. Sometimes I just end up hating the main guy and quit because I couldn't stand seeing him with the main girl. The comedy and storyline in Taiwanese ones are mostly too far-stretched, over the top, and just ends up really dumb. Also they actors hardly change, I just see the same ones over and over again until I'm sick of them. I watched more dramas than what I have mentioned above, but those popped up in my head while writing this post.

Conclusion: I hardly watch Taiwanese dramas anymore because it's always the same actors and the storylines just makes me face palm. However once in awhile they do have a drama that's like gold. If something looks good I'll try it, but I don't have high expectations. They do have more comedy relief than Korean dramas though, but the humor has gotten perverted lol. Haven't payed attention to them since "Next Stop, Happiness" since there's so many new Korean dramas. If you are a fan of Korean dramas just stick with it because you will probably not like Taiwanese dramas.
