I feel like the reason SM Entertainment debuts large numbered
groups such as Super Junior, SNSD and EXO is because they have too many
trainees.
Too many trainees, but don’t want to have too many groups. Why not
combine them all and debut them in the same group? They only need one
good singer and one good dancer. The rest are just there for eye candy
or whatever is needed.
Other companies have large groups, but I always think this of SM Entertainment.
